Participants of KVPS session – learning to express opinion using yes or no cards
Unlocking Freedom through Adult education is a project striving to achieve inclusion, participation, and equality for everyone.
This innovative project is all about ‘doing it together’. Working together with partners, project members and local communities we aspire to co-produce a more inclusive and participative society.
This is a three year project due to finish in 2018. The central objective of the project is to support the de-institutionalisation of people with disabilities across Europe through adult and community education.
There are three key priorities that underpin the initiative:
1To reduce disparities in learning outcomes affecting disadvantaged learners by supporting people to participate in non-formal high quality educational opportunities built around their needs.
2To improve and extend high quality learning opportunities by tailoring educational programmes across partner countries, to the needs of the individual learner, using innovative methodologies, including outreach, and train the trainer model.
3To develop the competences of adult educators, in particular, staff from the institutions or disability service providers and the adult and community educators themselves.
